Senior Quarterback, Michael W has been honored by the National Football Foundation Rhode Island Chapter to the Golden Dozen. Twelve football players are honored each year for their high academic achievements, as well as their achievements on the field. This season, Michael lead the team with 1775 passing yards and a .578 completion percentage. He threw for 17 touchdowns with only six interceptions. On the ground, Michael rushed for 827 yards, averaging over 100 yards per game, and scoring eight touchdowns. The RI Chapter will honor these high achieving athletes at their April banquet where they will name the player of the year. Michael will be taking his football and academic talents to Brown University in the fall.
