The girl’s varsity field hockey team had a strong performance vs. rival North Kingstown on Tuesday. The team was prepared and excited to play their first game at home, and everyone came out strong. The team played as a unit, with great passing, and good field vision. In the first 5 minutes, back to back goals were scored by Sophomores Mia Stilley and Caroline Powell. In the final 2 minutes of the first half, Kennedy Jones scored the third and final goal of the game off of a corner. Our defense, and senior goal keeper Asia Porter, had a fantastic game shutting out the Skippers.
