Mission: Moses Brown Basketball is committed to excellence in athletics as part of a larger commitment to excellence in education. The guiding principle behind our mission is our belief in the value of education and the high value of character traits that are developed through interscholastic athletics. We strive to use basketball as a tool to develop young men into successful student-athletes and leaders with character and a passion for excellence, both on the court and in everyday life.

Philosophy: The Fist- there are five fundamental qualities that I strongly believe make every team great: communication, trust, collective responsibility, care, and pride. Each quality as a separate finger of a fist. Any one individual is important, but all of them together are stronger.

In my experiences as a coach and a player, it has become evident to me that those who take sports very seriously develop the framework necessary for learning life lessons and become more successful young adults. My vision as the Head Coach is not only to take the basketball program to a higher level, but also to teach these young men how to use basketball as a tool for their future. Personally, this sport has taken me many places. Without it and the connections I have made and the brotherhoods I have been a part of, I would not be where I am today. This is where my love and passion stems from and what informs all that I do. It is not about me, it is not about wins and losses, it is about growth!
