Moses Brown has a rich football tradition dating back more than a century. Our program provides a positive and meaningful extension of the educational experience, offering students the joy and satisfaction that come from competing and being part of a team. We focus on the athletic and personal growth of each player, developing intangible skills like leadership, work ethic, collaboration, discipline and resilience. And, our program has enjoyed great competitive success. After winning the New England title in 2000, MB football move to the RI Interscholastic League in 2001. More recently, MB won Div. II state championships in 2014 and 2015, appearing in the DII Super Bowl for 3 straight years. In 2018, our first in Div. I, we qualified for the playoffs as the #2 seed. Recent MB graduates have gone on to play at Stanford, Brown, Penn, Colby, Tufts, Gettysburg, and Middlebury. Long-time offensive coordinator Vin Ucci was named head coach in early 2019 and Coach Ucci is excited to continue the fast-paced offense and tenacious defense that have been the hallmark of MB football.
